Fans of either Dragon Ball or Friday the 13th should look forward to Jason Takes West City if there ever is such a thing. At this point, however, Goku should be able to deal with Jason once and for all with the Evil Containment Wave. Even if Goku thinks he's beaten Jason, the undead killer can always revive himself and come back to haunt the Saiyan and his friends. He should at least be able to get one good sneak attack in on Goku whether it's fatal or not remains to be said. Jason would never be a match for Earth's greatest warrior, but he just might be able to give him some issues. If Goku gets the chance against Jason, he can seal him away just like he would Zamasu, and that would be the end of his troubles. After trying and failing to stop the invincible Zamasu, Goku learns the Evil Containment Wave so that he can seal the Kai forever. While Goku can't necessarily kill Jason, he does have another way of stopping immortal beings- containment. Goku has some very mortal people in his life that Jason may go through to get to him, including Bulma, Oolong, Mr.

Assuming that Jason goes through a cycle of getting the drop on Goku, stabbing him, getting "killed" by him, coming back, and repeating the process, the accumulated damage he inflicts could take its toll on Goku over time.Įven if Goku can deter Jason, there's no telling what he could do to his friends. He's even been shown to survive atmospheric re-entry and point-blank nuclear explosions. As an undead revenant, Jason cannot be taken out by conventional means. As long as Goku doesn't sense Jason coming for him, he remains at risk.Īnother way Jason could catch Goku off guard is with his immortality. He might not even notice if Jason's in the vicinity. Goku is normally on the lookout for stronger opponents, so he wouldn't think anything of Jason's relatively low power, and leave himself unprotected. This would be a time where Jason's being closer to human-level than planet-buster-level works to his advantage. RELATED: Super Dragon Ball Heroes' Wildest Villain Form Is Stronger Than Any in DBS He might be able to sneak up on Goku and deliver a mortal wound unto him. Jason is a master of stealthy kills and sneak attacks. Goku's vulnerability, when caught by surprise, could potentially be exploited by Jason. It seems that as long as Goku doesn't keep his guard up, he can still be hurt by that which wouldn't normally harm him. If anyone wants to take anime filler into account, he's also been hurt by a rock thrown at his head when his guard was down. In Dragon Ball Super, Goku gets shot by a ray gun, pricked by a needle, and even grazed by a bullet. At the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament, Tien gets sliced open by Mercenary Tao's hidden blade he even has the scar to prove it. However, the effectiveness of weapons against Goku and the Z Fighters has changed throughout Dragon Ball's run. Goku has gotten exponentially stronger since then, so it stands to reason that whatever conventional weapons Jason has would be ineffectual against him. More relevant, however, would be the time someone shattered an ax on Goku's scalp, a weapon Jason is more likely to use than any firearm. He has been virtually bulletproof since the start of the series. The first thing Dragon Ball fans would likely point to is Goku's durability.

RELATED: Dragon Ball Z's Entire Android Saga Was Nearly Stopped, Thanks to Bulma A true assessment of how a confrontation between Goku and Jason would play out will require an analysis of their abilities, weaknesses, and win conditions. Maybe Jason and Goku each have qualities that would make this fight less of a blowout.

However, every once in a while, someone will suggest an opponent who doesn't really seem like they'd be a match for someone as strong as Goku this is where Friday the 13th's Jason Vorhees comes into the story.Ī fight between Goku and Jason should have no reasonable outcome where Jason emerges the winner. Even with his superhuman strength, Jason armed with conventional weapons should not be able to defeat an opponent who fights opponents with planet-destroying capabilities and higher on a regular basis. He'll often be pitted against the likes of Superman, Saitama, and Pegasus Seiya. As such, fans of Dragon Ballwill often speculate on who would win in a fight between him and another powerful opponent. Goku is one of the most powerful main characters not only in his universe but in all of fiction.
